Weymouth Speed Week 2009

Exmouth sailors do well at Weymouth Speed Week

Sunday 11th October saw the windest day for the Speed Week, Wind was around 17-18 mph WNW.

Local sailors that attended enjoyed a good days sailing along the 500m speed course, where the pro's reached speeds upto 30kts. Out of us three, Alex, Henry and Mark ( Sorry Rick could'nt make it ) Alex clocked the fastest speed at 26.5Kts, Mark clocked 26.0 and Henry clocked 24kts.

Well done to Alex for winning the novice entry with his fastest run of 26.5 Kts.

I hope to see more of you entering next year.
