Sails

We stock a range of New and Second hand, pre used and Ex-Demo Sails, from a range of windsurfing sail manufacturers such as Tushingham, Neil Pryde, Ezzy, Naish, Gastra. For those on a budget we have package deals using the Tushinham Express sail.

Tushingham X-15 9.0, 7.6 Ex Demo

Price: £320, £280, save over £150

7.0m to 9.0m are brand new pure Slalom sails offering improved low-end, acceleration and a lighter feel for ’09. The highly tuneable 9.0m also works really well as a highwind Formula sail.

There was a time when we almost discouraged use of the X-15, deeming it to be too ‘hard core’ and rigid for most sailors. However, over time we’ve developed this sail into a much more user friendly piece of kit buy dint of close attention to camber inducer design, sail form and rigging elements.

The X-15 remains as a no-compromise competition tool but is now straightforward to rig with electric performance on the water and a super stable sail shape that invites the strongest of gusts. Although designed without compromise for big winds and maximum speed, sailing is not like wrestling a wild animal, as you may expect. Thanks to its slippery foil, the X-15 will continue accelerating through the most savage of gusts and is limited only by the nerve of the rider!

The X-15 is the first choice for sailors seeking outright performance in fully powered challenging conditions.

Tushingham Storm 5.5 Ex Demo

Price: £ 255 Save over £100 SOLD

Sorry Ive GONE !!

The ‘Storm’ has set the benchmark for all-round performance in high winds and chop since Tushingham were the first to recognise that not all high wind sailors were wave sailors.

The Storm Force 10 represents a major upgrade for 2009 . Ken Black’s design brief was to retain the forgiving nature, yet deliver a lighter, crisper feel in transitions, whether in a simple gybe, on a wave face or through the latest new-school freestyle trick.

4.75m – 5.75m - The mid range sizes are the true Storm all-rounders, they have to work in all sea and wind states from flat and marginal through to rough and gusty. These sizes are often used as a ‘small’ sail on larger freeride hulls or a ‘large’ sail on wave crossover boards. It’s crucial that the power delivery is adaptable for both locked-in freeride sailing and a more upright manoeuvre oriented stance. The tuning range has been maximised so that the sails will work in virtually any windsurfing environment.

.0m – 6.5m - The larger Storm F10’s are now oriented towards earlier planing, crisp power delivery and easy manoeuvring. Speed and straight-line performance remain, but those seeking ultimate no-cam freeride speed are well served by the Thunderbird in these sizes. Lessons learned when developing the Wedge (freestyle sail) have introduced subtle adjustments in outline, seam shape and luff curve to increase low end power and to deliver a particularly light feel in transitions.

Naish Force 4.7 Ex Demo

Price: £ 275 Save over £100

Force: Robby Naish’s signature wave sail – no need to change much here. Designed for sailors who want to ‘lock and load’ or in other words power up really quickly! High wind, bump & jump to all condition wave riding together with 100% cross ply – the Force continues to be Naish’s biggest seller.

I think this 4.7 is awsome, the power that it produces is like having a 5.25 rigged, if you need a sail that gives you the edge this is it. When I sell this I will be getting a new 2010 Force on demo, thats how good it is.
